Send no more than six poems at a time; prose fiction should be limited to 1500 words per story; book reviews, 250 words. Total submission, including poems and/or prose should not exceed 10 pages. Reviews must include full publication information: publisher, full address, Web site and e-mail (if avail.), year, page count, ISBN (if avail.), binding, price; if we run it, we will request you send the book unless we already have it in our library; we will also request the review in electronic form. Please remember that cited poems of longer than three lines should be set as they appear in the original publication; three or fewer lines may appear within a larger paragraph, lines separated by a solidus. For non-fiction, submit table of contents and one chapter, along with any other material (photos for an art book, for example) that will help the editors make a decision. We are happy to accept simultaneous submissions. That means you may send work elsewhere while we are considering it. If accepted elsewhere and we also decide to publish it, we will do so after it appears where first taken. We are also willing to consider work that has been previously published (just let us know where, so we can give proper credit). We expect submissions to include contributor's bio and SASE. We will only consider work sent September 1-October 30 and March 1-May 30. Submissions not following these guidelines will be returned unread. Please send hard copy submissions only. Address: |
