Reviews

Eve's writing will take you on a journey to times, lands and experiences rarely visited. Her cool distance from the convent, Depression era-Oklahoma and parts of Africa that aren't too friendly to women hides a world of turbulence. Her delivery is like a dream that allows the reader to move above the surface right along with Eve, and feel that they too survived this life, these travels, these details, the told and the untold.

Caron Perkal, Author, Art Director

Spiraling is a moving journey. Eve's vivid imagery takes us from a farm in Oklahoma where she was one of eleven children, through World War II's effect on a small community from the eyes of a child, winds into the sacred chambers of the convent . . . and out . . . into the Peace Corps and beyond. This book is truly, to quote one of her poems, "One Rose"!
